Trench I of Tell es-Sultan, Ancient Jericho, Palestinian Territories. Trench I was excavated by Kathleen Kenyon from 1952-1958. The trench was dug out to a depth of 15 meters in the surroundings of what Kenyon termed the Neolithic Tower. It has a base diameter of 8,5 meter and is preserved to a hight of 8 meters.
